Hi there. My name is Gerry.  I am English and now live in France.  I was born in Cambridge in 1944.  I have been a vocalist since 1959. I started my singing career  by winning a bet that I wouldn't get up and sing. I did and was offered a job in the very pub where it all started in Woolwich South East London. The bet by the way was for  a drink. I was also in a youth club skiffle group playing my homemade tea chest bass. I have been in various groups in my life, mainly around the

South East London area and Kent. I taught myself to play keyboards, and learnt some guitar playing from several guitarists over the years. I've just retired from singing as part of an
Anglo-American duo called Tom & Gerry, and also as a solo artiste. I sang to self made backing tracks. I also compose my own songs. I started composing firstly just music, and now music and lyrics. I enjoy re-creating songs as near to the originals as possible. My day job was as an
English teacher.  I recently retired and now have more time to concentrate on my music.

I have my own recording studio, where I spend many happy hours multi-tracking.
